Photographs, video footage, narrative or other works derived at the Refuge

The Refuge depends on public support for its survival. We extend to everyone the privilege of observing the wonderful habitat and rich fauna and flora here. We encourage people to take photographs and video footage, to make sketches or paintings or to write stories about what they have seen or experienced at the Refuge. All we ask in return is that you share this information with us so that we can use it to promote the Refuge to others. We will, of course, give you credit for anything we might use and hope that you will reciprocate by giving the Refuge appropriate credit wherever you may use this information. Together we can help ensure sanctuary for wildlife in this haven.

Although Refuge policy dictates that we have the right to share the material mentioned above, we operate on the honor system and ask for voluntary cooperation. We share our resources freely through our Web site and Facebook and Instagram accounts. We are not asking you to provide every photo you take, for example, just those you think are particularly good and that you believe might be useful in promoting the Refuge to others. You can help us in this endeavor by either sending us the material via E-mail or the postal system (P.O. Box 765, Newfield, New Jersey 08344-0765; for example, compact discs, SD cards, USB drives) or by providing a Web address where we can peruse and download if appropriate. Please also let us know exactly how you would like to be credited if we use this information.

If you are a professional artist, musician, photographer, writer or other creative person, we welcome you to spend time at the Refuge where you may find visual, aural and other inspiration. We will work with you to ensure that your rights to your creations will be protected while allowing the Refuge to benefit as well.
